September 2013: bmw and mini in germany slightly below previous year
In September 2013, BMW did not achieve the same level as last year on the German home market: The core brand BMW alone had 21,042 vehicles sold in Germany, 3.9 percent below the same month last year. With 2,657 new cars, MINI was 33.8 percent below September of the previous year, but suffered from the strong month of the previous year – the absolute figures are on par with August.
Further impulses are to come in the fourth quarter from the BMW 4-series and the BMW X5 F15, which are newly launched on the market and have large target groups in their sights.
